About the course

Reiki 2 opens a deeper and subtler area of practice. Reiki 1 introduces the foundations of self-treatment and hands-on treatment for others. The second degree builds on that experience and introduces distance practice, mental healing and a more focused use of intention within Usui Shiki Ryoho.

What will you learn?

In this course, you explore the three traditional symbols that form an important part of the Usui Shiki Ryoho practice. You will learn to:

• Practise distance Reiki in relation to people, situations or events, including those connected with the past, present or future.
• Explore mental healing as a Reiki practice for working with thought patterns, emotional tension and inner obstacles.
• Work with greater awareness and intention, guided by gentleness, attention and respect.

The methods are introduced in a practical and structured way, step by step, with time for practice and guidance. Reiki 2 is a natural next step for students who wish to deepen Reiki as a spiritual practice.

Working with distance and intention

In Reiki 2, practitioners explore a different relationship with time and distance. Within this spiritual practice, you can direct Reiki toward a situation from the past or set an intention for a future moment, such as an important conversation. The course offers a structured way to practise this with attention and care; it does not promise a particular result.

Mental healing practice also invites reflection on thought patterns and emotional experience. Students may find this a way to create more space for calm, clarity and connection with their own inner life.

A deeper practice, taught step by step

Reiki 2 is sometimes described as mystical, while its teaching remains grounded in a clear, transferable method. The symbols mark a deeper level of practice and invite continued attention, intuition and self-cultivation. This can support your own ongoing process and your practice with others.

What to expect during the course

• Introduction to the three symbols of the second degree and their traditional uses.
• Practice with mental healing and distance Reiki.
• Guided reflection on your personal practice and learning.
• An initiation into the second degree of Reiki.
• Exploration of time and distance within the Reiki method.

Where possible, students usually continue with the Reiki Master who taught their first degree, allowing the learning to deepen within an established teacher-student relationship.

Who is Reiki 2 for?

Reiki 2 is for students who have completed Reiki 1 and are ready to deepen their practice. The course explores symbols and methods for distance practice and mental-emotional work within Usui Shiki Ryoho. It is taught with care and adapted to your questions and experience, with room for reflection and personal development.
